We the undersigned believe the world has long needed a way to issue, settle, transact and move money peer to peer for 8 billion people and beyond the reach of government and corporate control. The TIMECHAIN is that way.
The TIMECHAIN is antifragile and a civilizational imperative for human flourishing.
The bitcoin TIMECHAIN is the first and foremost natively digital and neutral monetary system anchored in time, energy and real world cost. It is a public utility and infrastructure of immense value on par with TCP/IP.
What is the TIMECHAIN?
The TIMECHAIN, as we use the term, is the Bitcoin base layer (network and protocol) PLUS all layer 2's that exist now and that will be added in the future.
The TIMECHAIN maintains an immutable ledger whose history cannot be rewritten, even by the most advanced AI. Unlike bitcoin, the TIMECHAIN is not volatile. The right to self custody is inalienable.
Our Pledges
We pledge to act in support of the TIMECHAIN
Bitcoin's immutable ledger is a TIMECHAIN — not a blockchain. It is the ONLY TIMECHAIN.
The term blockchain has been co-opted and is wrongfully equated to the TIMECHAIN.
The TIMECHAIN includes a form of governance that most embodies foundational principles.
The TIMECHAIN treats everyone THE SAME.
We will run a node in support of the TIMECHAIN.
We will construct our own block templates when mining.
We will run a miner for heat reuse whenever feasible to do so.
We will educate others that the TIMECHAIN is vital public infrastructure for sending money over internet protocol — 'MOIP'.
We will educate others on block space scarcity being just as important as asset scarcity.
We will look for ways to spend bitcoin using the TIMECHAIN Standard.
For one day per year at the TIMECHAIN Summit we will give the TIMECHAIN a value of its own.
A Civilizational Imperative
We view the discovery of Bitcoin's TIMECHAIN on par with the discovery of fire, or the wheel, or the printing press — global infrastructure that must be preserved as a vital tool for human freedom.
Any attempt to limit the use of or access to the TIMECHAIN will be considered an attack on our freedom to transact and our sovereignty.
The TIMECHAIN makes possible:
- Simple and universal governance of global property rights

- Freedom to transact without permission
